Melchior Mitte de Chevrières, marquis de Saint-Chamond et fondateur de cette église et clocher. Je m'appelle Melchior et pèse 38 quintaux. F. en décembre 1646. Isabeau de Tournon, femme de Melchior Mitte de Chevrières, marquis de Sainct-Chamond, marraine. Cette cloche a été faicte en decembre 1646 des charités des confraires de St-Pierre et Se-Barbe et des paroissiens de l'esgleizes.
