Historique :	Cette cloche proviendrait de l'ancienne chapelle de Jurieu, paroisse primitive du lieu. Les habitants de Sainte-Croix l'auraient en quelque sorte volée à ceux de Jurieu. Pour la transporter, il l'auraient fait rouler sur le chemin qui descend, et c'est ainsi qu'auraient été faites les brèches de son bord.
